Chicken hamburger or simply chicken burger- Learn to make an easy chicken burger at home. 
A chicken burger is a perfect option when you want to make something easy but tasty to eat.
It is one of the dishes that came to India from western countries.
 A burger is a type of sandwich with a patty, some vegetables, and sauce in between. 

We can make burgers in different ways. Making a chicken burger at home is really easy, and it will take less than half an hour to cook. Enjoy the taste of a burger if you have all the ingredients ready. 

INGREDIENTS 
  • 4 burger buns
  • 750 gms of chicken
  • 2 tablespoons of black pepper powder
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tablespoons of finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 onion(chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons of soya sauce
  • 4 tablespoons of bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon of cornflour
  • Salt as required 
  • 4 tablespoons of tomato ketchup 
  • 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise 
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 4 leaves of lettuce 
  • 4 tomato circles
  • 4 cucumber circles
  • 4 cheese slices

Preparation time: 10minutes

Cooking time:        20 minutes

Serving:                  4 burgers


PREPARATION

Step 1: Cook the chicken in a pressure cooker with salt and water until completely cooked. Drain the water from the chicken, cool it, and mince it in a blender.

Step 2: In a mixing bowl, add this minced chicken, breadcrumbs, pepper powder, chopped onions, garlic paste, egg, soya sauce, cornflour, coriander leaves, and salt, mix well. Knead this mixture to a soft dough without adding water. Then divide it roughly into 4 equal portions.

Step 3: Moist your palm with water or grease it with some oil. Take one portion of the dough, and shape it into a patty. Make sure that the patty should be the size of the burger buns.

Step 4: Heat a tawa, pour a few drops of cooking oil and place the patties on the tawa, cook for about 3 minutes on each side.[medium heat].

Step 5: For the sauce: Mix mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, and honey together. Keep aside.

Step 6: Toast the buns. Take the lower portion of the burger bun and spread some sauce[mayonnaise, tomato ketchup, honey]. Place the patty on it, top it with a cheese slice, a lettuce leaf, tomato slice, and cucumber slice. Sprinkle some pepper powder.
Take the burger top, apply the sauce on it, and close the burger.

Enjoy this juicy and moist chicken burger.
